Eggshells - a natural supplement for dogs and cats

Eggshells are a natural source of calcium, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system. The flour obtained after grinding chicken egg shells is a source of perfectly absorbable calcium, which is the basic building block of bones and teeth.

The more calcium is incorporated into the bones during the growth of a young organism, the greater the so-called peak bone mass, which becomes more stable and resistant to injuries. Calcium helps maintain normal nerve conduction processes and regular heart function, as well as maintaining the strength of skeletal muscle contraction. Egg shells also provide magnesium, sodium, potassium, zinc and copper. They are an essential supplement to balance the level of phosphorus found in meat in case of limited bone consumption.
