For proper functioning of the body, a properly balanced diet is essential, which covers the energy requirements and nutrients. The nutrition model we use does not always fully cover this demand. High-quality Omega-3 oil, obtained from four families of wild marine fish, comes to our aid.

The importance of Omega-3 fatty acids for animal health

Healthy unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids help avoid many health problems, therefore they should be included in the diet of our four-legged friend. Omega-3 fatty acids, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) help, among other things, to lower blood triglyceride levels, improve the elasticity of blood vessels, regulate blood pressure. This is not the only pro-health property. Omega-3 fatty acids have a huge impact on the bodies of our four-legged companions, both younger and older.

Origin of Omega-3 oil (certified oil from wild marine fish)

Omega-3 Fish Oil is a high-quality oil derived from wild marine fish, distinguished by a high content of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids, in the proper ratio to omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids.

Omega-3 oil is obtained from small fatty fish from the families mackerel, sardine, sprat, herring, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and especially EPA.

Improvement of skin condition and coat health

Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to the improvement of the condition of the skin and coat. Healthy fats support in the treatment of diseases such as atopic dermatitis or skin allergies. They can also help relieve itching accompanying skin diseases.

Support for joint function and osteoporosis prevention

DHA and EPA fatty acids improve joint mobility, have analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, counteract collagen degradation in cartilage, thereby slowing the progression of osteoarthritis.

Effect on cholesterol levels and blood pressure

Omega-3 fatty acids help lower blood triglyceride levels, improve the elasticity of blood vessels, regulate blood pressure. Their beneficial effect is also associated with a reduced risk of thrombosis and improved heart function.

Anticancer effects and support of kidney function

High blood pressure damages the blood vessels of the kidneys. Omega-3 fatty acids help dilate the vessels, allowing better blood flow. They lower triglyceride levels in the blood, which helps reduce fat deposition in the kidneys. Omega-3 oil supports the body in reducing inflammatory states, decreasing kidney damage.  Results of scientific studies also indicate potential anticancer effects of unsaturated fatty acids.

Beneficial impact on the heart and nervous system

EPA and DHA fatty acids improve the performance of the cardiovascular system. DHA aids neuroprotection for the nervous system of senior cats and dogs.

Support for the development of the nervous system and vision in young animals

DHA contributes to the functioning and development of the nervous system, because it belongs to the basic components of nerve cell membranes. During adolescence, DHA and EPA fatty acids help maintain the health of the immune system, and DHA is particularly important for proper visual development.

Both acids have enormous significance in the development of young organisms and in maintaining homeostasis in later life stages of a four-legged animal.

Certificates and quality standards

Omega-3 oil is produced from a raw material certified - FRIEND OF THE SEA certificate, which is the world's leading certification system for sustainable fishing and sustainable marine aquaculture.

Omega-3 Fish Oil posiada certyfikat Friend of the Sea

Our oil is also tested in an accredited laboratory (details below), and a special purple glass bottle provides maximum shelf life and preserves all product qualities.

By choosing fish oils from the Pokusa For Health brand you have a safety guarantee! All fish oils are produced in a specialized facility that holds the FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification). This certificate is a modern food safety management system covering the requirements of the ISO 22000 standard as well as all legal standards of the Global Food Safety Initiative.

Omega-3 Fish Oil has the Friend of the Sea certificate - this is a project of the World Organization for Sustainable Development concerning the certification and promotion of seafood derived from sustainable fishing and sustainable aquaculture. It is the only certification system that certifies seafood under this logo for both wild and farmed.

We invite you to review the report on the tests conducted in an accredited analytical laboratory.

Omega 3 Fish Oil for dogs and cats is in a bottle made of special glass.

Packaging made of filet glass is key to preserving the freshness and health-promoting properties of the stored oil.

Bottles made of violet glass, into which we package our oils, represent the latest technology solution that enables maintaining the highest quality of the product stored in them. UV radiation has shorter wavelengths than visible light and can adversely affect substances contained in the oil, which may undergo rapid oxidation processes, thereby losing its health-promoting properties. Violet glass has been designed in such a way as to protect the products placed in it from harmful UV radiation and to maintain all the oil's qualities at the highest level.

The importance of regular supplementation

Regular use of our oil contributes to maintaining the comfort of the locomotor system and improves the quality of fur and skin. Due to its pleasant taste and mild scent, it is very willingly consumed by dogs and cats.

Unsaturated fatty acids contained in our Omega-3 oil, in addition to supporting the immune system, will also support the functioning of the brain, the heart, the kidneys, calm inflammatory states, and also improve the condition of the skin, the quality of the coat and the claws.

Omega-3 oil is one of the best, healthiest supplements you can give your four-legged companion regardless of the feeding model you use.
